RED VEIN REMOVAL

Do you have red veins on the cheeks or nose that you have to cover carefully with make up ? Are you worried about wearing short skirts because of the veins on your legs? Do you have red blood spots or clusters of fine red veins that look unsightly on you body?

With our specially trained nurses we can remove them totally so you can have smooth clear skin once again.

Our most common treatment for red veins is our laser system. The laser will specifically target the red vein to heat up the vein and make it disappear without harming the skin. Facia red veins are usually very superficial and extremely easy to treat with the laser. The treatment is relatively painless but for sensitive skins an anaesthetic cream can be applied to make the process very comfortable.

With leg veins we recommend that you have sclerotherapy as the first line of treatment. You will be able to watch as the veins literally disappear before your eyes! Sclerotherapy treatment involves injecting a special solution into the visible red vein that will make the vein collaspe and disappear.

You may clear your red veins totally with sclerotheraphy or you may need to 'tidy-up' some residual fine veins with our laser system, Whichever treatment is recommended for you we can clear you of unsightly veins.

INTENSE PULSED LIGHT– PHOTOREJUVENATION

As we age fibroblast cells within our skin diminish in number and efficiency. This is a problem because the fibroblast cells produce collagen which is essential for the elasticity and well being of our skin. Our skin becomes thinner and clusters of melanocytes produce areas of pigmentation commonly called age-spots. One way to prevent these signs of ageing is to protect our skin from the harmful rays of the sun with either creams (SPF 30+) or physical barriers such as wide rimmed hats. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) can stimulate these same fibroblast cells so that they produce more collagen and can repair the damage from the inside out. Additionally, IPL can work directly on the areas of pigmentation to leave a clear, younger looking skin. With extra collagen, lines and wrinkles will diminish and the skin will thicken, become more elastic and look healthy.

MICRODERMABRASION

Microdermabrasion is the name for a treatment that carefully and very precisely strips away the outer, damaged layer of the epidermis leaving the skin feeling smooth, clean and unblemished. It is a wonderful treatment for quickly removing some of the more superficial effects of sun damage. It can blend in scars to be much less visible and can remove fine lines. It will clean out pores and remove milia and superficial skin imperfections. Using very fine crystals of aluminium oxide, the treatment is very comfortable and the results are instant. You can have a ‘flash’ treatment which is just microdermabrasion alone or a deluxe treatment which follows the microdermabrasion with a soothing face mask that provides nutrients to the skin. You can also combine a microdermabrasion with the Intense Pulsed Light to provide a Photofacial that will work wonders with your skin.

FAT REDUCTION AND / OR SKIN TIGHTENING

Radio Frequency is the latest tool in the fight against the appearance of ageing and for body reshaping. We all age but none of us like to see the effects of ageing on our skin and bodies. Many of us are looking for a solution for those areas of fat that exercise and dieting seem to fail to remove. Of course, there are dozens of creams and treatments available that claim to tighten skin, remove cellulite, remove sagging and generally firm our bodies but the sad fact is that very few are even slightly effective. Surgery may seem the only answer even though we are nervous of the risks and prolonged recovery times that are associated with these procedures. In Skin Tightening mode, the procedure is frequently used to treat the thin, loose and 'crepey' skin often found on the neck and upper arms.
